Google AdSense Earnings Calculator
Enter your daily visitors, ad click-through rate (CTR) and cost per click (CPC) to see a monthly earnings range. The numbers are examples, so replace them with your own.
The formula
Monthly earnings = visitors per day × pageviews per visit × CTR × CPC × 30 days
For example, 1,000 visitors a day, 1.5 pageviews per visit, a 1% CTR and a CPC of $0.10–$0.50 gives about 15 ad clicks a day and roughly $45–$225 a month. Earnings shown in your AdSense reports are already your share after Google's cut, so use the CPC from your reports as it is.
Assumed CPC by niche
| Niche | CPC range | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Finance | $0.80 – $2.50 | Loans, insurance and investing attract high bids |
| Tech & reviews | $0.40 – $1.20 | Software and gadget content |
| Health | $0.30 – $1.00 | Ad policies can limit which ads appear |
| Education | $0.25 – $0.80 | Rises during exam seasons |
| Lifestyle & how-to | $0.10 – $0.50 | The most common blog topics |
| Travel & food | $0.10 – $0.45 | Mostly local advertisers |
| Entertainment & news | $0.05 – $0.25 | High traffic, low ad prices |
These are illustrative assumptions. Season, visitor country and ad placement move CPC a lot, so the CPC and page RPM in your own AdSense report will always be more accurate.
What is page RPM?
Page RPM is estimated earnings per 1,000 pageviews. The calculator shows it so you can compare it with the page RPM in your report and check whether your CTR and CPC assumptions are realistic.
Ways to earn more
- Traffic: publish more long-tail posts that keep getting search visits.
- Pageviews: link to related posts so visitors read more than one page.
- CPC: cover topics where advertisers pay more.
- Warning: clicking your own ads or asking people to click them violates AdSense policy and can get your account disabled.
Payments
Earnings are paid once they reach the payment threshold (usually 100 US dollars or the equivalent). Check the AdSense help center for your country's threshold and tax rules.
FAQ
How many visitors do I need to earn from AdSense?
It depends on your niche. With a CPC of $0.10–$0.50 and a 1% CTR, 1,000 visitors a day is roughly $45–$225 a month. Use the calculator to try your own numbers.
Where do I find my CTR and CPC?
Your AdSense performance reports show CTR, CPC and page RPM. For a new site, start with the assumptions here and replace them as real data arrives.
Why is my real income different?
CPC is set by ad auctions and changes with season and visitor country, and ad blockers or invalid traffic reduce earnings. The result is only an estimate.
Are taxes included?
No. Figures are pre-tax estimates, and AdSense income may be taxable where you live.
